Miguel Angel Garcia Molina, Managing Director of Recyship, European Life project ENV 07/000787, was one of the guest speakers at the event to mark the twentieth anniversary of Life program, which was held in Navarre.
An event organized by the Government of Navarra and the Centre for Environmental Resources of Navarre, CRANA, and held at the headquarters of the statutory advice of the Environment.
The Managing Director of Recyship, European Life project ENV 07/000787, explained the evolution followed and the current situation in which the program he is heading and which was endowed with 3.5 million euros by Life.
Now, three years after hard work, this initiative is on the verge of becoming a new industry "that has enormous potential for the European Union, and especially to Spain in terms of employment", explained the speaker.
Earlier, the Minister of Environment Foral Government of Navarre, Lourdes Goicoecha, opened the event commemorating the enactment and implementation of the European Life, remembering the many benefits it has brought to Navarre.
Thus, in particular, confirmed by Goicoechea, Life Navarre has benefited from investments worth 50 million euros over the last two decades.
The counselor, also was satisfied with the level of the environmental sector in Navarre. "We have been able over the years to lead a total of 31 projects Life, making Navarre one of the territories in Spain, more beneficiadospor this instrument, financially, the only thing keeping the EU environment", said.
Besides the already mentioned Recyship, European Life project ENV 07/000787, these ones are now in force in Navarre: Territory Life + Mink, the AG-UAS, Life Nitrates Recycled-PVB and, finally, Unidiges.
Representatives of all these initiatives have also participated in the event organized by the Government of Navarra and the Centre for Environmental Resources of Navarre, CRANA and have realized the state in which their projects are.
